It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Laura Flannery, a beloved member of the Franklin, Massachusetts community. Laura passed away unexpectedly on November 5, 2025, leaving a profound void in the lives of her family, friends, and all who knew her.
Laura was a dedicated professional and a passionate advocate for education, having worked for over 15 years as an early childhood educator. She touched the lives of countless children, fostering a love for learning and nurturing their potential. Laura was known for her patience, creativity, and unwavering dedication to the children in her care. Her ability to connect with each child and their families made her a standout in her field, earning her numerous accolades from both colleagues and parents alike.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Laura was deeply committed to her family. She was a loving mother, wife, daughter, and sister who always put the needs of others before her own. Laura’s warmth, humor, and kindness were unmatched. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life—whether it was spending time with family, cooking her favorite meals, or volunteering in the community.
Cause of death: Laura tragically passed away after a brief illness, leaving her family and community in shock and mourning.

Visitation & Funeral Information:
Visitation will be held at the Franklin Funeral Home on Thursday, November 7, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A celebration of Laura’s life will take place on Friday, November 8, at 10:00 AM at St. Mary’s Church, followed by a burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Laura’s family extends their deepest gratitude to all who have reached out with support and condolences. They welcome all who knew and loved Laura to join them in remembering her life, her legacy, and the love she shared with everyone.
