The Cascade Young Life community and the Aumsville area are mourning the sudden and heartbreaking loss of Michael Rosenau, a beloved leader, mentor, and friend whose life was tragically cut short in an ATV accident. Michael was known for his unwavering faith, joyful spirit, and selfless dedication to serving others. His presence left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Michael devoted countless hours to Cascade Young Life, where his compassion and leadership inspired countless young people to grow in faith and confidence. He was the kind of person who made everyone feel seen, valued, and loved—always ready with an encouraging word, a warm smile, or a helping hand. His work within the ministry was more than service; it was a calling he embraced wholeheartedly, and through it, he shaped lives and built lasting connections throughout the community.
Beyond his ministry, Michael was known for his adventurous spirit and love for the outdoors, often spending time exploring nature and sharing those moments with friends and family. His kindness, humor, and authenticity drew people in and created bonds that will never be forgotten.
Michael’s faith was the cornerstone of his life. He lived with a servant’s heart, demonstrating what it truly meant to walk in love and grace. His loss leaves a tremendous void, but his legacy of faith, friendship, and compassion will continue to shine through those he touched.
Cause of death: Michael Rosenau passed away following an ATV accident in Aumsville, Oregon.
To honor his memory, a community prayer and worship gathering will be held on November 10th from 6:00–8:00 PM at 7700 4th Street, Turner, Oregon 97383, where all who knew Michael are welcome to come together in love and remembrance.
